RELAY FOR VIESMANN FIS WORLD CUP  2017

Otepää World Cup competition for team service personnel.

COMPETITION RULES

 

Goal

To offer active participation and memorable entertainment for the cross country ski family and spectators during the Viessmann FIS World Cup Otepää opening ceremony.

 

Participation and registration

Preliminary registration of the team has to be sent to email address ylle@suusaliit.ee

until 19.00 o clock on 16th of February 2017.

Maximum 20 teams are allowed to start that are served on first-come, first-serve basis.

Final registration of the teams with names and starting order takes place in the Race Office from 15.00 to 17.00 on 17th of February 2017.

17th of February 2017

15.00 – 17.00             Race Office open for registration in the Race Office, Tehvandi Stadium House 2nd floor

18.00 – 18.30             Handout of start numbers in the Race Office.

18.30 – 18.50             Warm-up on competition course.

18.50                          Presentation of teams in the start area.

19.00                          Start 3 x 2 x 1000m team relay F for service personnel.

19.30                          Award ceremony.

 

Competition rules

Competition takes place in relay format for teams consisting of 3 competitors in free technique.

The length of 1 lap is 1,0 km.

Competition takes place for teams consisting of team service personnel attending Viessmann FIS World Cup Otepää competition.  In this competition every competitor skis the distance 2 times.

There will be no official timekeeping in this event. In situation not described above the FIS rules.

 

Award ceremony

Awards are given to 3 best teams.  The award ceremony takes place immediately after the competition.  Competitors that are not present in ceremony will not receive awards.
