Catering
- Single-use food containers, cutlery, drinking straws, etc. decorations are not used at events. In cooperation with Ringo, the catering of athletes and organizers is ensured from reusable dishes. Catering for visitors is ensured by the caterer as well as reusable dishes provided by the cooperation partner.
- Sugar, salt, pepper, coffee cream etc. packed in small packages are avoided. The caterer is asked to serve them in the appropriate dishes.
- When ordering catering, preference is given to caterers who offer food made from Estonian raw materials. The quantities are calculated according to the number of people being fed in such a way that there is no food waste.

R-Kiosk is developing its product range in line with the principles of the planetary health diet, increasing the share of vegetables and reducing red meat. Their recipes prioritise locally sourced ingredients, and the coffee is made from organic beans grown without synthetic chemicals. The aim is to offer quick, tasty and environmentally friendly choices that support the health of both consumers and the planet.
- At the end of the day/competition, the remaining food is given to the organizers-participants and donated.
Why do we do this? Because about 1/3 of the food produced for humans in the world is thrown away, which would be enough for 3 billion people. This water, which is used to produce discarded food, could be used by 9 billion people, about 200 liters per person per day. If food waste were a country, it would be the third largest producer of greenhouse gases after China and the United States.
