FREQUENCY APPLICATION PROCEDURE

 

In Estonia, the radio frequencies need to be authorized by the regulatory authority. Permits for the use of radio transmission equipment must be requested according to national specifications. Unauthorized use is liable to prosecution.

Frequency License

All users of radio transmitters subject to a licence must hold a licence granted by Estonian Technical Regulatory Authority. The Estonian Technical Regulatory Authority specifies the frequencies that may be used in the radio licence.

For obtaining a frequency license the user should fill the application form. The application must include radio technical parameters and also the locations and dates of the usage. The application form for short term use is attached to this procedure.

Filled applications should be sent to email address: event@tja.ee  no later than 15.11.2018. The allocation is based on "First come, first served" principle.
