NORDIC JUNIOR COMPETITION

X-Country – Ski Jumping – Nordic Combined

 

March 15th – 17th 2024 

Otepää, Estonia

 

 

ORGANIZERS:  Estonian Ski Association and Emajõe Ski Club

 

PLACE:               cross – country tracks at Otepää Tehvandi Sports Center, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined jumping on HS97 Jumping Hill at Otepää Tehvandi Sports Center

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES:

 

 ● Preliminary entry with the number of athletes, officials and request of hotel reservation (accommodation dates and number of rooms) – latest 15th of February, 2024 

Preliminary entries must be sent via EST NJC 2024 PRE-ENTRY FORM 

Accommodation invoices are made advance on the basis of this information.

 

 ● Official entry with names, birthdays, FIS-code and gender - latest 6th of March, 2024

ENTRY FEES:

 

Participants in the national team (DEN-EST-FIN-ISL-LAT-LTU-NOR-SWE): 20€ per athlete per race and 20€ per member in each team competition and relay. 

Participants outside the above national team: 25€ per athlete per race and 25€ per member in each team competition and relay. 

 

Entry fees needs to be paid to the organizers bank account before the competition, latest March 8th. 

All bank transfer fees must be covered by the payer.

ACCOMMODATION:

 

Accommodation is located in Otepää next to the competition Ski Stadium and Ski Jumping hill (no need for transportation). Prices are valid for booking at least for 3 nights.

 

Full board in standard single room     125 €    per person per day 

Full board in standard double room    100 €    per person per day 

Full board in standard triple room        90 €    per person per day

  

 

WAXING FACILITIES:

 

The wax cabins will be available from Thursday, March 14th until Sunday, March 17th.  On request you can get access to the cabins from Wednesday. Every nation gets one free wax cabin at the ski jumping hill and one at the ski stadium. There is a possibility to get extra wax cabins including the electricity for the whole stay with 550 €. Please notify us about your extra need for a wax cabin with the first preliminary entry. 

 

 

FLUOR BAN:

  

General information about Fluor ban implementation is published in FIS website.

 

Fluor ban implementation in Nordic Junior Competition 2024:

• Cross-country: There will be fluor testing
• Nordic Combined: Common waxing

 

TRANSPORTATION:

INSURANCE

 

All participants must have an insurance coverage through their National Ski Association. The LOC is not liable for any kind of accidents, injury, damages or lost property.

 

 

PERSONAL DATA

 

By registering, each participant confirms that his/her name, age group and results can be publicly displayed and the organizers have the right to use any photographic and video material of him/her for promoting the event.

 

RADIO PERMISSIONS

 

The operation of radio equipment in Estonia is regulated by national law. Permits for the use of radio transmission equipment must be requested according to national specifications.
